2019: Started 16 out of the 30 games she played during her senior season. Cecchetti had 8 hits on 48 plate appearances, scoring 6 runs for the team. She had 3 home runs and 5 RBI’s on the year. She was also 2-2 on stolen base attempts. Best game of the season came against Indiana on Mar. 9th when she went 1-1 with a 3-run home run. Cecchetti also had home runs against Stephen F. Austin (Mar. 2nd) and St. John’s (Mar. 9th). Team rankings: tied for 4th in home runs (3), tied for 1st in stolen base percentage (1.00), tied for first in fielding percentage (1.00), and 3rd in putouts (155).
2018: Started in 42 of 49 games played as a catcher…Hit .226 with two home runs and 12 RBI…Had a six-game hitting streak and also reached base six games in a row…Went 3-for-5 in a doubleheader win against Fairfield with a home run…Recorded a season-high three RBI going 2-for-3 versus East Tennessee State…In a conference game at Lipscomb, went 1-for-2 with a walk and a home run…Defensively, collected .996 fielding percentage with one error on 282 chances.
Prior to USC Upstate: Spent two seasons at Tallahassee Community College under head coach Patti Townsend…Appeared in 89 career games and hit .342 with one home run and 46 RBI...Earned First Team All-Panhandle Conference honors twice…Was a Second Team FCSAA All-State selection as a sophomore…Also excelled academically earning NJCAA First Team All-Academic accolades…Received the Mickey Englett Panhandle Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2016-17…Was also selected First Team All-Academic by both the Florida College System Activities Association and Panhandle Conference.
High School/Travel Ball: Graduated from Liceo Scientifico Falcone e Borsellino.
