Biography

2020 (Senior): In a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic…Sullivan made the second most appearances (12) and starts (7) on the team…Sullivan led the team in ERA (2.13) and strikeouts (49)…The native of New Mexico went 4-3 in the circle, pitched 42.2 innings and opponents hit .209 against her.

2019: Played in 10 games with 3 starts as a junior. In the box, she had 1 hit on 3 plate appearances. Her lone hit was a home run against St. John’s on Mar. 9th in which the team lost 10-8 in extras. In the circle, Sullivan pitched 28.1 innings with a 3.46 ERA. She went 1-0 on the season with no saves. She gave 1 home run but had 16 strikeouts. Her opponents batting average was a mere .275. Pitched a complete 5-inning shutout against N.C. Central on Feb. 24th in which the team won 14-0. Team rankings: 3rd in ERA, 3rd in opposing batting average (.275), 2nd in win/loss percentage (.813), 3rd in wins (1), 3rd in innings pitched (28.1), 3rd in batters struck out (16), and 1st in hits allowed (30).

Prior to USC Upstate:  Played two seasons at Butler Community College…Was a First Team All-American by the NJCAA and Fastpitch News as a sophomore after going 23-2 with a 1.01 ERA and 223 strikeouts in 138.1 innings pitched…As a sophomore, was named the Most Outstanding Pitcher at the NJCAA National Tournament while ranking second in the country in strikeouts per seven innings…Tossed two no-hitters in 2018 and struck out 10 or more batters eight times, later being named the KJCCC Most Valuable Player. Offensively, hit .568 with five home runs and 32 RBI playing primarily at third base…Was a Second Team All-Conference selection in 2017…Concluded her career at Butler first in career ERA, fourth in strikeouts and seventh in wins…Ranks third for a single season in strikeouts and ERA.

High School/Travel Ball:  Graduated from Volcano Vista High School in Albuquerque, N.M…Lettered four years in softball and one in track and field…Was part of one state runner-up (2015) and three district championship (2014-16) teams…Earned First Team All-State honors three times and Second Team All-State in 2013…Received three First Team All-District Accolades and Second Team in 2013…Selected Team MVP and Second Team All-Metro in 2014…Played travel ball for New Mexico Sundancers.
