High School: Yoder a native of Newton, N.C. was a three-sport athlete at Fred T. Foard High School. Yoder played four years of softball, two years of tennis and a season of basketball during her prep career. The Tar Heel State native recorded a .480 batting average and an era of 1.10 in the circle. Yoder’s softball accolades include being a 2x All-State selection, 2x All-District Player, 3x All-Conference selection, All-District Pitcher of the Year, 2x All-Conference Pitcher of the Year, 2x Conference Champion, Athlete of the Week for the Observer News Enterprise, Catawba Shoe Store Softball Player of the Year and a 3x Powerade State Games of North Carolina Softball Participant.
