High School: A five-year letterwinner atHillcrest High School... has been a starter and team captain atcatcher for four years... helped lead Hillcrest to the 2004 4Astate championship and was a member of the team that won a staterecord 96 straight games... the 96 straight wins remains the thirdlongest streak in the country... led Hillcrest to the 2007 regionchampionship... finished the year with a .366 batting average, a.480 on-base percentage and six stolen bases.
