2010: Saw limited action while making the transition to the college game... totaled two at bats on the year... made five appearances in the circle for the Spartans... tossed six innings of relief on the year... turned in her best performance with two innings of hitless ball in the 9-8 win over Appalachian State (May 6)... a member of the A-Sun All-Academic team.

High School: A standout pitcher and corner infielder at Northwest Cabarrus High School for head coach Lori Treiber... earned 3A All-State honors after recording a 0.93 ERA... totaled 154 strikeouts on the year... also solid at the plate... finished with a .389 batting average... named the North Piedmont Conference Player of the Year... eanred all-conference and all-district honors... named to the Charlotte Observer’s All-Region team... named a Scholar Athlete and Golden Bat Award honoree at NW Cabarrus... an honorable mention all-state selection as a junior after going 10-6 with a 1.29 ERA and 121 strikeouts in 103 innings pitched... three-time all-conference selection... earned all-district honors as a junior in 2008... helped lead the Trojans to back-to-back second-place finishes in the North Piedmont Conference as a sophomore and junior... earned the team’s Golden Bat Award three times... finished career with 450 strikeouts in 357 innings pitched... owns a .365 career batting average... also an exceptional student... a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club... also played travel softball for the Carolina Cardinals travel team coached by Rick McHone... helped lead the team to an appearance in the ASA Eastern Nationals in 2008.
