2020 (Junior): In a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hellberg went 3-12 overall and played at the No.1 and No. 2 singles flights for the Spartans…Hellberg leaves USC Upstate with 15-30 overall singles record…In doubles action the native of Sweden finished with a 4-10 record as a member of the Spartans No. 1 doubles team…The junior leaves USC Upstate with a 17-21 overall record in doubles play in her career.

2019 (Sophomore): Competed in 21 singles matches and 18 doubles matches during her sophomore season. Earned her first singles win of the season on Feb. 2nd when she defeated Belmont Abbey’s Blair Boatright in 2 sets (6-0, 6-2). Finished the season with 9 total singles wins, an improvement from her freshman season. She had wins against Belmont Abbey, Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Gardner-Webb, Stetson, UNCW, SC State, Presbyterian, and Longwood. Won 4 straight singles matches from Mar. 13th-Mar.28th. Helleberg led the team with 12 doubles wins, 5 of which came during conference play. Improved her wins in both singles play and doubles play from the previous season.

Before Upstate: Attended Malmo Idrottsgymnasium...Played club tennis for Svedala Tennisklubb.

Personal: Born Feb. 11, 1998 in Malmo, Sweden...Daughter of Anders Hellberg and Marie Andreasson...Has one brother (Johan)...Majoring in Business.
