Spartans Have Solid Saturday at Adidas Winthrop Invitational

Final Results
Rock Hill, S.C. – Junior Essence Jackson won the 800-meter run as the USC Upstate track and field teams wrapped up the Adidas Winthrop Invitational on Saturday.
Jackson crossed the finish line in 2:13.61 to claim the event victory while Ashleigh Torres scored an eighth place finish. KeAndrea Ladson scored a fifth place finish in the 100-meter hurdles. Kayla Jordon finished sixth in the 200-meter dash. Semaj Tolliver finished seventh in the 100-meter dash. Audriana Jones finished seventh in the long jump. The 4x100-meter relay team finished in fourth place.
James Jones scored a fifth place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, followed by Tanner Saunders in sixth. Donnie Hutchinson finished fourth in the triple jump, with Darius Marshall earning an eighth place finish. The 4x100-meter relay team scored a seventh place finish.
Upstate will compete at the Terrier Relays next Saturday.
