
Track Stays in Spartanburg for Terrier Relays

Spartanburg, S.C. - The USC Upstate track and field teams will stick around in Spartanburg this weekend as the Spartans compete in the Terrier Relays on Saturday. The meet will be held at Spartanburg High School.
Last weekend the Spartans had 15 top-10 finishes at the Adidas Winthrop Invitational highlighted by Essence Jackson's victory in the 800-meter run. KeAndrea Ladson (100-meter hurdles), James Jones (100-meter hurdles), Donnie Hutchinson (triple jump) and the women's 4x100-meter relay team each scored top-five finishes.
Saturday's events begin at 11 a.m. with the women's javelin and are scheduled to conclude with the women's 4x400-meter relay at 5:25 p.m. Admission to the meet is free, however, there will be a $5 charge for parking.
Upstate is off next weekend and will return to action on April 15-16 at the Charlotte Invitational.
