rd, but the Penguins held Upstate scoreless over the final 2:31 to take a 66-61 victory.Â
Everette Hammond led the Spartans with 18 points and was joined by three teammates in double figures –

Cartier Jernigan each with 10 points.Â
CHARLOTTE – The 49ers fell Wednesday afternoon at Georgia State in overtime, 81-78. The Niners had three players in double figures, Drew Edwards with 24 points, Malik Martin with 15 and Amidou Bamba recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Niners allowed GSU to shoot 50% from the floor and 55% from behind the arc. .

Bryson Mozone leads in rebounds at 5.3 per game and is second on the team in scoring at 9.9 points per game. Mozone's 16 made 3-pointers this season are 3
rd best in the Big South.
CHARLOTTE – The 49ers are led by Jordan Shepherd at 14.2 points per game, Drew Edwards, a grad transfer from Providence (12.2) and Jahmir Young (11.6). Amidou Bamba, a 6-9 grad transfer from Coastal Carolina, had his best game as a Niner at Georgia State with the double-double. Edwards and Bambu are the only seniors on the Charlotte roster.
