SPARTANBURG, S.C. – As the weather dips into cooler temperatures, it's time to head inside and watch the USC Upstate Track and Field team compete in their indoor season. The Spartans kick off the season tomorrow at the JDL Fast Track for the Visit Winston-Salem College Kick Off.

Event Preview
It's been a while since either the Men's or Women's track and field teams dusted off the running shoes. Their last time out as a team was for the Big South Outdoor Championships in May. Several current Spartans had strong finishes during the championships, including Channing Ferguson and Bryce Ravenell, who took second and third respectively in both the high and long jump event.
The Spartans started last season at the Visit Winston-Salem College Kick Off as well. They'll be hoping the venue provides another spark like it did last year as Arianna Krcik and Andrew Aun set school records in the 600M.
