Tournament Preview
After competing against a stacked tournament field at TPC Sawgrass at the Sea Best Invitational, USC Upstate men's golf heads back to the Sunshine State following a nearly two-week layoff, competing at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate in Palm City, Fla.

Teeing off from the Hammock Creek Golf Club Saturday, the Spartans face a 21-team field at the event—the largest field the team has competed against this season.

Against an event field that featured six teams ranked in the top-50 of the GolfStat rankings and a course that posted an average score of three-over-par (73.24) at the Sea Best Invitational, the Spartans posted two sub-300 rounds with both rounds (297) sitting at the team's average round for the season.

Sophomore Max Dupree led Upstate for the fourth time in five events to open the 2021-22 season, tying for 32nd at the Sea Best Invitational. He fashioned scores of 73-74-70-217, finishing seven strokes over par while posting his third-lowest 54-hole total of the season.

Posting scores of 79-73-71-223, junior Brady Hinkle wrapped the event at 13-over-par, tying for 57th on the final leaderboard. Carding final round totals of 71 and 70, respectively, Hinkle and Dupree stood as Upstate's biggest movers of the event, jumping 14 and nine spots on the leaderboard following Tuesday's third round.
