Men's Golf Heads to Wilmington for the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Returning to competition after a successful tournament out west, Upstate men's golf is staying along the East Coast, competing in the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday.
The Spartans have shown steady momentum this spring, with each tournament finish higher than the last.
Jackson Stone is first in the lineup and a golfer to watch. Recently named to the Arnold Palmer Cup Watchlist, Stone finished sixth in the Jackrabbit Invitational with a total score of 218, marking his third top-ten finish this season for the Spartans. Herman Holst has been another steady presence for Upstate, also finishing in the top ten at the Jackrabbit Invitational.

About the Course: Designed by Donald Ross, Cape Fear Country Club is the oldest private country club in North Carolina. It served as the home for the PGA Tours Azalea Open from 1949 to 1971. The UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate will be played as a 6,953-yard Par 71 layout.
