ATLANTA, Ga. – USC Upstate Track and Field traveled to Georgia for the two-day Georgia Tech Invite. In a tough field of competition, seven Spartans earned top ten finishes, and nine other Spartans etched their names into the top ten all-time school performance list.

Day One: Quintavius James placed fourth in the men's 100m with a time of 10.42. This time ranks James second all-time in school history and was his new personal best.  Jessa Beach finished fifth in the women's hammer throw with a distance of 56.13m.

Day Two: Jeremiah Harris led the Spartans on the final day with his second-place finish in the men's 200m. His time of 20.90 is the new school record, breaking his old school record of 21.07 he set last week. Joshua Sterling finished sixth in men's discus, setting a new personal best with a throw of 50.38m, moving him to second all-time in school history.
