Jackson Stone and Ross Wright Earn Top-25 Finishes at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge

PAWLEYS ISlAND, S.C. – USC Upstate men's golf was back in action at the three-day Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge.

Leading the Spartans was none other than Jackson Stone, finishing the tournament with a top-25 finish at -5. He carded scores of 70-69-72 for 211. Stone's 12 birdies were the most he has had this season, and his second round was highlighted by an eagle.

Ross Wright was the other Spartan to finish in the top-25 at one under par. Wright had ten birdies across all three rounds and went 70-71-74 for a total of 215.

Head Coach Todd Lawton has this to say after the tournament, "Jackson and Ross each played a solid tournament. Both competed highly in the field. Seeking a complete team score is what we will focus on these next couple of weeks before conference. We've had so many good individual rounds. We need complete tournaments."
