High School:  Lettered in both basketball and football at John Marshall High School…Played nearly 80 games during his prep career and averaged 9.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game…Turned in 13.7 points and 8.9 rebounds per game as a senior…Was named Honorable Mention All-Conference 26 and All-Academic by the RVA Sports Network during his senior season…Played in the 804 All-Star Game after helping lead John Marshall to the quarterfinals of the Class AAA state playoffs…Also started on the football team at quarterback and was a Richmond Times-Dispatch First Team All-Conference 26 as a junior.
