2020 (Junior): In a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Russwurm went 2-6 overall playing primarily at the No. 5 singles flight…In doubles action, the German native went 3-4 overall playing as a member of the Spartans No.3 doubles tandem.
2019 (Sophomore): Competed in 12 singles matches and 6 doubles matches over the course of his sophomore season. Won his first match of the season, defeating Belmont Abbey’s Adam Nesnow, 6-0 in 2 sets. Russwurm also had a conference win against Gardner-Webb on Apr. 4th, in which he took his opponent to 3 sets winning the first won 7-6 and the third one 10-7. Took his opponent to 3 sets on 4 different occasions. Partnered with Luka Eble in 3 out of the 6 doubles matches he appeared in during the season.
