Prior to Upstate:  Played one season each at Santa Ana College and Utah Valley…Was named First Team All-Orange Empire Conference at Santa Ana after helping the Dons to a third-place finish in the conference...Led Santa Ana with a .687 slugging percentage, seven home runs and 43 RBI while scoring 26 runs.

High School/Travel Ball:  Graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy…Lettered in varsity softball and soccer, and JV basketball…Played travel ball for Pacific Pride Prep and Kaikamahine.

Personal:  Born on Jan. 16, 1997…Parents are Randy and Robin Sapla…Has two brothers, Randy and Keanu, and one sister, Rache’…Is majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
