University of South Carolina Upstate

Maranda (Sams) Miller joined the USC Upstate cheerleading coaching staff in June 2022 leading the spirit team for three years and joining the competition cheer staff in an assistant role in 2025.

A local product, Sams cheered in Spartanburg County at Chapman High School and at Lander University until her career was cut short due to injury.  Miller currently serves on the cheerleading coaching staff at Chapman High School as well.
