Spartans Set 23 Personal Records at Gamecock Opener

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The USC Upstate indoor track and field programs competed in the Gamecock Opener this weekend where the Spartans saw four top-five finishes, 23 personal records, a school record, and a tied school record over the course of the two-day meet that took place at the University of South Carolina's indoor track and field facility.

Adanma Uzor set a school record in the women's triple jump with a leap of 12.21, breaking her previous school record of 12.16m from the Atlantic Sun Championships in 2018. ZoRyan Hendricks tied the school record in the men's 60m hurdles, which he set at the Clemson Opener last month, in the semifinals with a time of 8.02 seconds. Hendricks also picked up a runner-up finish in the men's triple jump with a mark of 14.03m.
