Event Preview
After hosting the program's first multi-day event at Carolina Country Club, USC Upstate men's golf hits the road for the first time since opening the season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, heading to Chattanooga, Tenn. and the Black Creek Club for the Battle at Black Creek.

At the Carolina Collegiate Invitational, redshirt junior Parker Lewis paced all Spartan golfers at the event as he posted the best 54-hole total of his career with a one-over-par 217. Behind scores of 71-73-71-217, he grabbed Upstate's best finish in the event, tying for 23^rd.

Nearly joining Lewis with a top-30 placement at the Carolina Collegiate Invitational were sophomore Max Dupree and junior Brady Hinkle who paced the team's lineup, tying for 37^th and 33^rd, respectively. Dupree wrote in scores of 73-70-77-220 while Hinkle fashioned scores of 74-73-72-219 as the duo topped the lineup for the second consecutive event to open the season.

Dupree, Hinkle, and Lewis are joined by fifth-year senior Nick Willis and sophomore Zander Briggs in the Spartan lineup at the Battle at Black Creek after rounding out Upstate's top-five finishers at the Carolina Collegiate Invitational behind scores of 77-75-71-223 and 74-74-78-226, respectively.
