Track & Field Concludes Indoor Season with Four Wins

LEXINGTON, Va. – Four Spartans took home gold at the VMI Winter Classic this past weekend as USC Upstate track and field wrapped up the indoor season. On the women's side, there were 22 top-10 finishes, and five of those performances rank in the top-10 in Upstate's program history. The men had 14 top-10 finishes with five of them also ranking in the top-10 in program history. Twenty-three Spartans set a personal record over the weekend.

"Overall, it was a good weekend for us with personal bests, top-3 finishes, and some top-10 all-time Upstate performances. I am excited to see what this group can do during the outdoor season," said head coach Carson Blackwelder.
