Event Preview
Returning to the course for the first time since the fall portion of the team's schedule, USC Upstate men's golf competes for the first time in the spring at the Sea Best Invitational. A stout field for the event, featuring 12 teams ranked in the top-115 of the GolfStat rankings, converges on TPC Sawgrass – Dye's Valley in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

During the fall portion of the team's schedule, sophomore Max Dupree led the Spartans in three of four events, including a pair of top-10 individual finishes. His best finish came at the Battle at Black Creek, claiming a runner-up placement, fashioning scores of 74-66-69-209 with his second-round 66 marking the lowest round of his career.

Through four events this season, Upstate has carded an average round of 296.42 across 12 total rounds with eight of the team's 12 rounds coming in sub-300. As a team, the Spartans' top finish came at the Carolina Collegiate Invitational, placing 10th.
