Men's Golf Closes Final Big South Championship Tune-Up as Play Comes to a Close at the Wofford Invitational

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Competing in the team's final tune-up ahead of the 2022 Big South Men's Golf Championship, USC Upstate men's golf wrapped up play at a pseudo-home event Tuesday as the Wofford Invitational came to a close at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

Leading the Spartans, junior Brady Hinkle claimed a top-30 finish as he tied for 29th after posting rounds of 69-69-80-218. His 54-hole total sits as his second-lowest event total of the season while his first and second round 69 are tied for his lowest rounds of the year, falling a stroke shy of his career-low rounds. Dating back to the Seahawk Intercollegiate's final round, Hinkle carded three straight rounds of 69, comprising his three sub-70 rounds this season.

As a team, Upstate wrapped the Wofford Invitational 18th, posting marks of 306-297-310-913. The team's second-round 297 marked the team's 13th sub-300 round of the year.
