Tournament Preview
Continuing a streak of events returning to the team's schedule to open the 2023-24 season, USC Upstate men's golf treks to the Yellowhammer State, returning to the Graeme McDowell Invitational for the second straight season. This season's iteration of the GMAC sees a new home course, teeing off from Limestone Springs Golf Club in Oneonta, Ala.

The Spartans enter their second tournament of the season after seeing each member of the team's lineup post 54-hole scoring totals of 232 or below at the Allstate/Streamsong Invitational, doing so to start the season for the second straight season at the event. Freshman Cameron Biddle led Upstate at the Allstate/Streamsong Invitational, marking down scores of 77-74-74-226 as he tied for 47^th in the event field.

Three Spartans return to the Graeme McDowell Invitational after competing at the event last season as senior Zander Briggs, senior Panop Norasing, and sophomore Christophe Palmans return to the lineup for the second straight season. Palmans makes his 2023-24 season debut at the event and led the three Upstate returners at the GMAC in 2022-23, fashioning marks of 83-83-75-241.

The Graeme McDowell Invitational features three days of play with play beginning Sunday and wrapping Tuesday. The tournament features tee times off the first and tenth tees beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET with Upstate's tee times beginning at 10:00 a.m. off hole ten.
