CHARLOTTE, N.C. - As the 2025-26 Basketball Season tips off in 19 days, the Big South Conference has announced Preseason All-Conference teams with Redshirt Junior, Karmani Gregory being named to Preseason All-Conference Second Team.
The Redshirt Junior from Palmetto, Florida appeared in 32 games and started in 31 for the Spartans during the 2024-25 season. Gregory comes in the new season as the leading scorer of all eight returning players to Upstate Men's Basketball. The combo guard averaged 11.1 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field, averaged 3.7 assists per game while being one of three guards in the Big South with over 100 assists. Gregory will be hungry for more than personal accolades with the Spartans as he looks prepares to take the court November 3rd in the Golden State where the Spartans open against California Baptist. With one season in the Marty Richter era, Karmani Gregory will look to display more of his game on the floor while getting his teammates involved. Already being named to the Big South All-Academic Team, Gregory adds another accolade in his Upstate career.
