Men's Golf Switches Up Play Style for the Second Competition of the Spring Season

DADE CITY, FLA. – USC Upstate men's golf will participate in The Match Play at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. This match style of play has teams facing off against each other, with six Spartans facing off against Dayton.
Clayton Taylor is a golfer to watch for this match, after leading the Spartans at the SeaBest Invitational. Taylor's performance included five birdies, finishing the final round -2. Ross Wright was the other Spartan to put up a solid performance in the SeaBest Invitational, including six birdies in the second round alone, tying his career-low of 68.
Spartan Lineup: Teams (8): The Following Teams will go head-to-head:
Central Michigan – Richmond
Ball State – Evansville
Bowling Green State – Loyola-Chicago
Dayton – USC Upstate
About the Course: Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club is a top 50 ranked golf course just north of Tampa. The rolling hills and elevation changes mimic North Carolina, with two different 18-hole golf courses.
