2011-12: Turned in a solid season for the Spartans…Was one of three Spartans to play in all nine events and 27 rounds…Ranked second on the team with a 75.3 stroke average…Also ranked second with a .602 winning percentage…Was second with six rounds under par…Shot 10 rounds of 74 or better…Claimed one Top 10 finish…Earned A-Sun Golfer of the Week after winning all four of his matches to lead the team to a second-place finish in The Match Play at Reunion (Feb. 13-14)...Led the Spartans to two wins over nationally-ranked South Florida...Finished tied for 24th at the Wendy’s Kiawah Classic (Oct. 30-No. 1)…Finished tied for ninth at the Caribbean intercollegiate (March 5-7)…Was 25th at the Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational (April 9-10).
2010-11: Played in seven tournaments for the Spartans... Saw action in three fall events and four spring tournaments... Played 21 competitive rounds... Ranked fifth on the team with a 75.7 stroke average... Finished with one top five finish... Ranked second on the team with a .585 winning percentage... Claimed four top 25 finishes in seven outings... Finished 16th at the Charleston Shootout (March 1)... Finished fifth at the Caribbean Classic (March 9) to help lead the Spartans to the team championship.
2009-10: Had a solid first season for the Spartans... Claimed his first collegiate championship when he shot a final round 67 to claim a share of medalist honors with Josh Gallman in the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate Classic... Played in 10 tournaments... Ranked fourth on the team with a 76.5 stroke average... His 67 in the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate Classic was the second-lowest round of the season and tied for the second-lowest round all-time at Upstate... Finished 20th in the season-ending tournament at the Fossum Invitational at Michigan State.
Gardner-Webb: Saw action in one tournament for the Bulldogs... Finished tied for 29th at the Stono Cup (Oct. 6-7)... Turned in rounds of 77, 74 and 82.
High School: A four-year letterman at Boiling Springs HS for head coach Rick Tate... Team MVP and captain his senior year... A two-time all-region selection... Earned all-area honors as a senior... Finished ninth at the 4A state tournament his senior year in 2007... Won the Trojan Invitational... Took second at the TW Memorial and Spring Valley Invitational... Finished third at the Region II-4A Championship.
