2014-15: Had a history-making season as a junior…Became the first Upstate golfer, men’s or women’s, to play in the NCAA Championships on the Division I level…Earned an individual berth into the Chapel Hill Regional and claimed a tie for 23rd placed…Earned his second All-Conference selection from the A-Sun, earning Second Team honors for the second consecutive year…Finished ranked No. 169 in the Golfstat rankings and No. 138 in Division I…Won his first collegiate tournament championship by tying for medalist honors at the Wendy’s Kiawah Classic to end the fall season…Tied the program record for most strokes under-par in a round with his final round 66…Broke the school’s single round record with a 65 at the Camden Collegiate Invitational…Shot 16 rounds at par or better, including nine under-par…Owned the six lowest rounds of the season for the Spartans…Shot in the 60’s six times…Led the Spartans with six top 10 individual finishes, three top 5 efforts and one win…Recorded a team-best 72.4 stroke average and an .865 winning percentage…His 72.4 stroke average ranks third all-time at Upstate… Finished in the top 15 in seven tournaments, the top 20 in eight and top 25 in 11…Claimed a second-place effort at the Camden Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 6-7)…Was third at the Badger Invitational (Sept. 28-30)…Had three ninth-place finishes, including the Rees Jones Invitational (Sept. 21-23), Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational (April 13-14) and the A-Sun Championship (April 19-21)…Led the Spartans to a fourth-place finish at the A-Sun Championships, the best finish ever by the Spartans in the tournament.
2013-14: Turned in a tremendous sophomore season...Led the team with a 73.0 stroke average and three top 5 individual finishes...Earned Second Team All-A-Sun honors...Was one of four Spartans to play in all 10 tournaments during the season...Posted the team''s lowest round of the season, a 67 in the second round of the Springhill Suites Intercollegiate (Sept. 9)...Turned in back-to-back second-place finishes to lead the Spartans to two straight tournament titles at the Springhill Suites Intercollegiate (Sept. 9-10) and Rutgers Invitational (Sept. 13-14)...Claimed back-to-back A-Sun Golfer of the Week honors following the two team championships...Finished in a tie for third at the Bash of the Beach (March 10-11), helping lead Upstate to the team championship...Finished eight at the Forest Hills Collegiate (March 1)...Shot under 70 six times on the season...Shot par or better 13 times...Posted a team-best .811 winning percentage.
2012-13: Named the Freshman of the Year at Upstate…Finished the year as one of two Spartans to play in all 10 tournaments…Finished second on the team with a 75.0 stroke average…Tied for second on the squad with two top 10 finishes…Posted a .673 winning percentage…Burst onto the scene with back-to-back 77 scores in his first collegiate tournament to finish as the top Spartan at the Invitational at the Ocean Course (Sept. 9-11) two weeks after the course hosted the PGA Championship…Claimed the top finish on the team in two of the first three tournaments of the year…Finished in a tie for seventh to help Upstate win the Rutgers Invitational (Sept. 14-15)…Finished the tournament with a 69 for the low round on the team…Was the top Spartan while finishing 18th at the Wendy’s Kiawah Classic (Oct. 28-30)…Tie for fourth at the Stetson/CFSC (Nov. 5-6)…Posted a tie for 13th at the Charleston Shootout (March 4-5) to help the Spartans win the team championship…Claimed a tie for 16th in the A-Sun Championship (April 21-23).
High School: Attended Ellowes Hall…Ranked 28th among England’s 18U amateur players…Was 107th overall among all amateur players in England…Ranked 93rd in all of Europe in 18U juniors…Finished tied for seventh in the stroke play portion of the 2012 British Boys Championship with rounds of 70 and 75…Qualified 10th with rounds of 74 and 75 at the Staffordshire England Boys Midland Championships…Tied for seventh at the McEvoy Trophy…Won the Enville Club championship…Led Staffordshire to the championship in the West Midlands League…Claimed three tournament wins in 2011 at the Staffordshire Boys Amateur Championship, Staffordshire Boys Open Championship and the British Colleges Sport West Midlands Region…Also finished second in two tournaments…Won three tournaments in 2010 at the West Midlands League Championships, Enville Junior Order and the King George IV Trophy…Won back-to-back titles at the Dudley Schools Junior Championships in 2008 and 2009.
