Bryant Wins Big at Adidas Winthrop Invite

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Angelnique Bryant dominated the competition this weekend at the Adidas Winthrop Invite as she won the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.88 as well as the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.81. The women also earned another win as the quartet of Bryant, Sharetha Odom, Jasmine Brown, and Anastasia Kinlaw took gold in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.24.

On the men's side, Jared Henderson took home the win in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.62.

The women had nine top 10 finishes this weekend while the men had 12. Seven of those 12 finishes from the men rank in the top 10 in Upstate's program history. Additionally, 23 Spartans also set personal bests this weekend.

"Overall, we had a good weekend. We saw a lot of PR's and breakthrough performances. We will have next weekend to train through and see even better performances the second half of the season," said head coach Carson Blackwelder.
