2008-09: Turned in a second-straightspectacular season for the Spartans... while others received theirshare of publicity, he was the backbone of the team... was the onlySpartan to win an individual championship, taking medalist honorsat the Stetson/CFSC Invitational (Nov. 3-4) to end the fallseason... finished the year with 4 top-10 finishes... was second onthe Spartans with a 74.6 stroke average on the year... owned a567-260 head-to-head record against tournament competition... afterstruggling in the first three tournaments of the year, he turned itaround to close out the fall season with a 10th-place finish at theStono Cup (Oct. 6-7), a 29th-place performance at the ODU/SeascapeCollegiate (Oct. 27-28) and the first-place effort at theStetson/SFSC Invitational... claimed a tie for 10th at the KauaiCollegiate Cup (March 13-14)... had rounds of 76, 74 and 69...finished tied for eighth at the A-Sun Championships (April20-22)... an A-Sun All-Academic selection.
2007-08: Came into his own as asophomore... had a breakout year, lowering his stroke average bynearly two shots over his freshman season... claimed four top-10and seven top-25 finishes in 12 tournaments... finished the seasonwith a 670-318 (.678) head-to-head record... made Upstate historywhen he became the first Spartan to win an individual championshipon the NCAA Division I level when he won the season-opening RutgersInvitational with a 4-under score, leading the team to the teamchampionship... finished sixth in the BSC Invitational... claimed ashare of ninth place at the MacDonald Cup... was 10th at theWofford Invitational... shot par or better in nine of 33 rounds.
2006-07: Had a standout season for theSpartans in eight tournaments... played all of the tournaments inthe spring... claimed four top-20 finishes... was sixth at theBuccaneer Invitational... fired a career-low 69 in the final roundof the event... was 11th at the Tusculum Invitational... finished15th in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
High School: Led the Easley High Schoolteam to the 2005 4A State Championship which was played at FurmanUniversity... shot a three-under-par 67 in the first round and a 71on the final day... finished the tournament with a one-over-par 217to earn a tie for eighth-place individually... a member of theSouth Carolina team for the Georgia/South Carolina Cup... finishedtied for 11th in the Cup... tied for third place at the FurmanInvitational, besting players who signed with Division Iinstitutions... finished 13th in the 2004 4A State Championships...tied for 16th in the 2004 Carolinas Golf Association JuniorChampionship, the largest junior golf tournament in North and SouthCarolina.
