2014-15: Teamed with Ryan Cornfield to form a potent 1-2 punch during the season…Battled for the lead in stroke average before finishing second on the team with a 74.1 average…Also ranked second with three Top 10 individual finishes and one Top 5 effort…Posted a .660 winning percentage, which was also second on the team…Shot seven rounds of par or better, including tying his career-best with a 68 at the Camden Collegiate Classic (Oct. 18)…Shot 31 rounds in the 60’s or 70’s in 33 tournament rounds of the season…Claimed five Top 15 finishes…Shot rounds of 70, 71 and 73 to claim second place at the Badger Invitational (Sept. 28-30)…Was 13th at the Camden Collegiate Classic (Oct. 18-19)…Claimed a tie for sixth with rounds of 70, 73 and 73 at the General Hackler Championship (March 9-10)…Claimed a tie for ninth at the Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational (April 13-14)…Shot rounds of 75, 74 and 75 to claim a tie for 15th at the A-Sun Championship (April 19-21)…Helped the Spartans claim a program-best fourth-place finish.
2013-14: Turned in a tremendous freshman season...Became the first Upstate golfer to earn A-Sun All-Freshman honors...One of four Spartans to play in all 10 tournaments during the season...Broke the program''s career freshman stroke average record, ranking third on the team with a 73.8 stroke average...The 73.8 average broke the old record held by all-time great Josh Gallman, who turned in a 74.6 average in 2006-07...Ranked third on the team with one Top 5 finish and three Top 10 finishes...Shot par or better in 10 rounds...Owned a .717 head-to-head winning percentage...Finished tied for sixth to help the Spartans win the Rutgers Invitational (Sept. 13-14)...Claimed a Top 15 effort at the Badger Invitational (Sept. 29-Oct. 1)...Finished tied for 16th at the Sea Best Invitational (Feb. 3-4) played at the STADIUM Course at the TPC Sawgrass...Was 10th at the Forest Hills Collegiate (March 1)...Claimed a career-best second-place finish at the Bash at the Beach (-7, March 10-11) to lead the Spartans to the team championship...Also earned A-Sun Golfer of the Week honors for the effort.
High School: A two-time, back-to-back Upper State medalist in 2012 and 2013 from Byrnes High School...Shot 5-under-par 67 at Willow Creek Golf Course to win by five strokes as a senior in 2013...Parlayed that success into a fifth-place effort at the 4A State Tournament played at Furman...Shot rounds of 75, 76 and 71 en route to earning All-State honors...Played in the South Carolina North/South All-Star Tournament...Led his team to a 13 ½-2 ½ victory while winning all three of his matches...An all-tournament selection at the Rebel Invitational and the Georgia/South Carolina Cup...Won the Spartanburg County High School Tournament at Woodfin Ridge Country Club...Finished his senior season with a 35.7 nine-hole stroke average...The 2012 Spartanburg County Junior Champion...Also earned All-Region, All-County and All-Area honors...Solid as a junior as well...Averaged 37.4 per nine holes...Received All-Region, All-County, All-Area and All-Academic honors...Turned in a strong academic career as well as an AP student at Byrnes.
