2014-15 Indoor: Finished 5th or better in four of the five meets he competed in…Won two individual races in the mile run and 3000-meter run…Began the season by finishing 1st in the 3000-meter run (9:01.42) at the UNCG Six-Way Meet…Posted a time of 4:25.59 in the mile run at the Buccaneer Track & Field Invitational to earn the 1st place finish…Finished 3rd in the 3000-meter run seeded (8:48.89) at the Bob Pollock Classic and 5th in the 5000-meter run invitational (15:19.03) during the ETSU Track & Field Invitational…Ended the season with an 8th place finish (14:58.57) in the 5000-meter run at the A-Sun Championships.
Prior to Upstate: Ran for two seasons at Spartanburg Methodist College…Posted top times in the 8K of 27:42 as a freshman and 26:45 during his sophomore season…Was a member of the 2013 Region X Championship team at SMC where he placed 7th in the individual competition…Named Academic All-American in each of his four semesters…Was the recipient of the Travis Eller Award for General Excellence.
High School: Attended James F. Byrnes High School…Lettered two years each in cross country and track…Earned All-Region accolades as a junior after finishing in 2nd place at the Region Meet…Named All-Region for track in the 800-meter and 1600-meter runs…Was voted Best All-Around as a senior.
