2014-15 Indoor: Competed in three meets and competed primarily in distance events…Finished 3rd at the App State Indoor Open and posting a 3rd place finish in the mile run…Also ran in the 5000-meter run.
2014 Outdoor: Was named A-Sun Track Athlete of the Week on May 14 after recording a 2nd-place in the 1500-meter run (4:07.78) at the Aggie Last Chance…Added two 5th-place performances, both in the 1500-meter run, at the Carolina’s Cup (4:08.73) and Charlotte Invitational (4:11.94)…Also competed in both the 800-meter and 5000-meter runs... Finished 1st in the 4x800-meter relay, along with Bryson Dawkins, Andrew Kipchumba and Josh Lee, at the Charlotte Invitational.
2013-14 Indoor: Had three top-15 finishes in both the 800-meter run and mile run…Earned his first career victory after placing 1st in the mile run (4:32.65) at the Mountaineer Open…Also placed 5th in the 800-meter run (2:03.69) at the Mountaineer Open…Ran the mile in 4:32.20 at the Hilton Garden Invitational…Finished second at the UNCG Spartans Team Challenge as part of the distance medley team of Damian Grady, Ethan Dopp and Matt Johnson.
High School: Attended Westlane Secondary School where he ran for head coach John Kennedy…Lettered in cross country and track and field…Had personal-bests of 1:57.7 in the 800-meter run and 4:03.64 in the 1500-meter run…Earned team MVP honors in both cross country and track and field.
