2010: As a junior made 15 apperances with 12 starts on the mound... Finished the season with a 4-7 mark and one save behind a 5.28 ERA... Struck out 49 batters in 75 innings of work... Picked up a win in his season debut against Presbyterian College (Feb. 20) after pitching five innings allowing just four hits while fanning six... Tossed seven innings against NJIT (Feb. 28) giving up just six hits and one earned run to go along with five strikeouts... Tossed six or more innings in three straight appearances (6.1 IP, at ETSU, Mar. 19; 6.2 IP, at Belmont, Mar. 26; 6.0 IP, Jacksonville, Apr. 2)... Picked up win after pitching seven innings against Campbell (Apr. 17), allowing just two earned runs in the Spartans 6-2 win... Had a no decision at Mercer on Apr. 24 after pitching seven innings allowing just two earned runs on six hits... Finished season with back-to-back victories... Picked up win at Stetson on May 8 after pitching seven complete innings despite seven Hatters coming around to score (gave up eight hits and allowed one earned run)... Tossed 8.1 innings in final appearance against Kennesaw State, allowing just two earned runs on nine hits in the Spartans 12-2 victory on May 15... Also had three at-bats on the season finishing 1-for-3 and a walk at Charleston Southern (Mar. 16).

2009: Faced one batter, allowing a hit against Virginia Tech (2/22), before being shut down with a shoulder injury ... Earned a medical redshirt ... A member of the A-Sun All-Academic Team.

Previous College: Played two seasons at Spartanburg Methodist College ... Appeared in 14 games as a freshman, maintaining a perfect 6-0 record and a 3.00 ERA while helping SMC to a third-place finish at the NJCAA Division I World Series ... Walked six and struck out 17 in 30 innings of work ... One of SMC''s weekend starters at the beginning of sophomore season, going 2-0 with a 1.88 ERA and a complete game in three starts before being shut down with shoulder trouble.

Summer 2007: Pitched with the Spartanburg Stingers of the Coastal Plains League, going 2-3 with a 4.46 ERA in 42.1 innings ... Struck out 20 and walked 13. High School: A 40th-round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2006 draft as a pitcher, even though he was mostly a catcher at Broome ...
