Picked up first career win against Georgia State (Feb. 24) after pitching three innings, allowing five hits, one earned run and fanning five Panther batters... Continued strong start to freshman campaign, recording save number two against Dayton as he pitched the final inning and retired all three Flyers he faced... Pitched more than two innings in a game seven times... In final appearance of season, tossed three innings against William & Mary (May 18) allowing two runs on two hits and stuck out two batters... A member of the A-Sun All-Academic Team.

High School: A four-time letterwinner at Marietta High School, playing both pitcher and shortstop ... Earned his team''s pitching award three times ... Posted a 1.70 ERA and struck out 70 as a senior and earned the team''s MVP award... Finished his junior season with a 6-4 record and a 1.82 ERA ... Played with the East Cobb Braves, one of the best club showcase teams in the nation ... Named the MVP of the East Cobb organization in 2008 and helped his team win the Under-18 World Wood Bat Association National Championship in 2009... Started the championship game for the Braves ...
