2011 Indoor: An impact newcomer for Jimmy Stephens'' 2011 Track and Field Team...Set new indoor marks for Upstate in the 60-meter dash (7.11, Niswonger Invitational, 2/4/11)and the 60-meter hurdles (8.18, Tiger Paw Invitational, 2/12/11)...His mark in the 60-meter hurdles bested his previous school record in the event, which he set at the JRF Combined Events Invitational (1/28/11), recording a time of 8.34 en route to a fifth-place finish.
Before Upstate:Competed for two years in sprints and jumps at Coastal Carolina (2007-08) University at the Asics/Winthrop Invitational running a personal-best 14.49... A member of the 4x200-meter relay team that broke the school record at the Penn Relays running 1:26.21... Ran a wind-aided 10.80 at the Chanticleer Classic in the 100-meters... Member of the 4x100-meter relay team that finished third at the Big South Conference Championships... Posted a season-best 22.78 in the 200 meters at the Coastal Carolina Invitational...
2007 Outdoor: Ran a career-best 14.81 in the 110-meter hurdle prelims at the Big South Championships... Advanced to the finals, ran 14.95 and placed fifth... Battle of the Beach Champion in the 110-meter hurdles... Ran on the 110-meter hurdle relay team that raced 59.78 at Penn Relays... Tied for sixth in the 200 at the CCU Invitational with a personal-best time of 22.22...
High School: Two-time letterwinner... Was the MVP and Most Outstanding Hurdler as a senior... Earned All-Area and All-State in the 110-meter high hurdles... Won the Coaches'' Award...
