PRIOR TO USC UPSTATE: Attended Catawba Ridge High School (S.C.)…competed in cross country and track and field for the Copperheads…developed into one of Catawba Ridge’s top distance runners during his prep career…helped the Copperheads qualify for the South Carolina state cross country championship…ran 16:54 at the 2024 state qualifying meet, finishing 28th overall and contributing to Catawba Ridge’s team score…followed with a 17:14.94 at the 2024 South Carolina state championship, placing 22nd overall…competed at the Adidas XC Challenge during his senior season, completing the 5K course in 17:09.1…also competed in the distance events during track and field season…posted a 4:36.03 in the 1600m at the Region 3-AAAAA Championship, finishing sixth overall…ran 10:12.18 in the 3200m at the same meet, placing eighth…joins USC Upstate as a member of the Spartans’ 2026 freshman class.
